The majority of the preparation is done, and AIESEC in Mexico is looking forward to host you in these great events. Mexico Representatives at International Presidents Meeting 2007, Egypt

From February 16 to 28 the International Presidents Meeting was held at Cairo, Egypt. This is one of the most important conferences at global level since it reunites the leaders of the global association to define the global plan and the election and selection of the new team of AIESEC International takes place.

As representatives of AIESEC Mexico, Octavio Soto (President elected) and Argentina Canton (President) participated at this conference contributing with the input of AIESEC in Mexico to define the next team and the global plan, also had the opportunity to interact with the leaders of the different countries of the global association, share experiences and learn from good case practices.

The participation of Mexico within the region was defined and the contribution to the growth of it taking into account the support Mexico can give to other countries and the work that we can do with Spain and Colombia to make a bigger impact.

During the next national conference the participants will be bringing more concrete information to impact AIESEC in Mexico next year.

 

Alumni Congress Registration Deadline Extended!

A lot of people have registered already for the Alumni Congress 2007 in Guanajuato and we're excited to announce that the deadline to Register and Pay has been extended to this Friday, March 9. Don't miss out on this opportunity to spend time with old friends and new acquaintances who all share the common past of having been members of AIESEC and worked to advance our mission. First Train the Trainers in the history of AIESEC in Mexico

During February 23rd-25th, the first Train the Trainers of AIESEC in Mexico took place. We are now counting on two certified and enthusiastic national Trainers: Mariana Montiel (Guadalajara) and Jorge Aranda (La Salle). They are already proving their skills at local level. During the next months they will support the National Committee to break down national strategies while giving trainings at local level and in national conferences. In this way we will increase the knowledge and continuity in our Local Committees.

 

 

Americas Exchange and Leadership Development Seminar is Coming Up!

 The AXLDS 2007 it is a great opportunity, a great trip to manage, to be an inspiration source where the personal and professional development of all the involved ones looks for. All this in a great country, Mexico, in a great city, Guanajuato, surrounded by history, great traditions, hospitable people and mainly magical surroundings.

In this conference will be great amount of people, forms of life, ways to think, etc. and, taking into account all this, it is the great moment to take advantage of the sharing of those experiences, in order to know how to take advantage of that knowledge...
