AIESEC In mexico Updates

Asamblea Nacional de Planeacion 2007, Guadalajara

Our National Planning Meeting was held in April in Guadalajara, the new Executive Boards of every Local Committee together with the current ones attended this conference to define the future of AIESEC in Mexico.

Every year we held this conference in order to define the next steps in the National Plan for the country and give the input for the Member Committee and the Local Committee's plans. This year was a little bit different and more important since we defined the Long Term Plan for our Country. We set the priorities for the next 3 years until 2010 and how are we going to contribute to the AIESEC 2010 Vision.

Now is time to start transition and left the something that next generations will enjoy.

Thanks Guadalajara for hosting us and thanks to all of the delegates for your participation.

Leadership Day

In order to strengthen the National Issue based strategy and the framed @XPs of our members, the past April 20th we gathered the academic sector, the government, the third sector, the corporate sector and our members to discuss and talk for a whole day about LEADERSHIP for the entrepreneurship and the Corporate Responsibility. This event took place within the agenda of our National Planning Assembly in the Universidad de Guadalajara CUCEA campus.

Organizations as Calzedonia Intimissimi, Universidad de Guanajuato, Fundación Proniños de la Calle, Accenture and Cemex participated with us through 1 conference, 4 learning circles and 8 workshops.

We widely thank all the attendants of this day.

New National Partner: FUNDACIÓN PRONIÑOS DE LA CALLE

AIESEC in Mexico, in order to strengthen the national structure and our learning platform and aiming to create more and more leadership opportunities, and through this way, activating leadership, is nowadays in a huge campaign of partner’s creation.

Is a great pleasure for us to announce that FUNDACIÓN PRONIÑOS DE LA CALLE (www.proninosdelacalle.org.mx) is our new and first national PROJECT PARTNER. Through this partnership we'll be able to start our National Pbox (Childream) and this way we´ll be able to boost exchanges within the national network. Besides, Proniños will give our current learning environment the needed content to make it real and will let our members gain the correct and consistent tools to form in our issues. Proniños will be participating in our conferences, learning circles, virtual discussions and will be present virtually in our media.

We widely thank the organization and we commit to take this new partnership forward.

XP Tracker Goes Online

AIESEC in Mexico is proud to have created a unique Member Management System. It is known as the XP Tracker, which derives from tracking the AIESEC Experience of each member. The system allows us to evaluate the performance as well as the learning of each individual. It demands to evaluate the abilities and knowledge of a member according to our Competency Model as well as linking past activities and conferences to the evaluation of a member's performance and personal development.
